Another fully customized order, this stereo spring reverb with delay unit is the perfect element to put in the mix chain. It has all the usual features of the standard 2-3-5 circuit, minus the dry section, plus decay and length controls. What makes this piece special however is the stereo delay that is separate from the reverb signal. The two signals are mixed together in the final stage which creates some very unique sounds, especially at short reverb decay/delay times.
Due to the size of the case and the fact that the power supply is internal, smaller sized spring tanks were utilized in this design. The trade off from the larger sized springs is complexity of the sound versus a slightly better high frequency response, as well as of course, the reduced footprint. One of the nice features of these old DDR cases is the tilt function which shows off the controls better when standing.
