The 8 Channel Tube Stereo Line Mixer with Spring Reverb

Here is a custom order that is really customized! It’s an all tube (16 in total) stereo line level mixer with built-in spring reverb and two aux channels. The separate reverb channel controlled by the short throw faders includes a dwell control as well as HPF and LPF. All 8 inputs are unbalanced and high impedance so will accept pretty much any source one could throw at it, with enough gain for weaker signals. The master outputs are transformer balanced for even more character and the ability to drive long cable runs.

Not shown is the external power supply which has to deliver 300 Volts DC at considerable current and heater supply that is also in series DC for the quietest operation possible. Vintage ALPS faders are used throughout and offer a great mechanical feel. Despite the simplicity of the design and (relatively!) compact size, this is a fully professional mixer with great specifications.

There are a lot of options that could be available in a mixer of this size: equalizers; master effects; microphone channels; etc. It is a great way to interface with modern gear that needs more character and add glue for the mix.
